Tweet: goo.gl Today, we take a look at the new tablets that have somewhat potential. The first two tablets were announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. First off, we start with the Toshiba Excite 10 LE. This tablet features a very thin and elegant design coming in at 77mm thin. Also, I really like how the screen can be used for a wide variety of things such as a school or business environment. The main downside to this tablet is the fact that it’s running Honeycomb, costs $530 and a 4G LTE model isn’t provided. Next, we talk about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. This tablet is smaller than the Excite and has a few better features. First, it features a dual core processor and it has a Super AMOLED Plus screen. These are some nice components in a tablet and definitely make it unique. Also, it runs 4G LTE on Verizon. But, the downside is if you would like to use 4G you are tied down to a two-year contract. Also, the $500 price point is horrible considering the specs you get. If it was running ICS and wasn’t on a two-year contract I’d consider it. Finally, we talk about the iPad 3 and the predictions that I have. I think that we will see dual-core, 3-5 megapixel camera with 1080p recording and a higher resolution screen. Apple can turn things that nobody likes at first to things people love. Now there’s one thing that needs to be put on there, it’s 4G capabilities. 4G is what Apple will need to stay in the game and dominate the tablet industry. Twitter: goo.gl …
